Disneyland Day4

Last day in Disneyland, not gonna lie I was exhausted at this point.. and it was a pretty hot day, it got into the upper 90's which I can do when i'm at the beach, but at an amusement park ya not the best, and my feet were killing me. I shouldn't complain.. Jarom had to carry our backpack all day that had our food and water in it.. poor guy! But it was still a great day and a great end to our trip! I think my most favorite part of this whole trip though was being with Jarom 24/7 and not having to worry about homework!! It was heaven!

I have been to CA before, but I never remember it being this smoggy.. you can't even see the Mountains in the background. I don't think I could ever live in CA unless we lived on the beach.. Kind of don't see that happening..

Jarom was so good and watched every show, every parade, and every firework show with me! That is my favorite part of Disneyland!

Disneyland Day 3

Day 3 was so much fun! We were there from open to close, kind of long day, but we got a lot of good rides in.. well Jarom did (ya I get sick on rides so basically I wait in line, or wait for Jarom to use our fast passes twice)!!! But seriously it was such a fun day! We ran into my hairdresser who happens to be the daughter of my highschool teacher.. so much fun, Jarom ran into his MTC teacher.. and than we also hooked up with one of Jarom's mission buddies that live in CA! Crazy seeing so many people you know when you are so far away from home!

Jarom loves Star Wars so naturally he would love Star Tours!!! He was able to ride that ride about 4 times using fast passes!

I had to get a picture of this, mostly cause it just looks funny. and because Jarom never holds baby babies.. this is the youngest i have seen him hold, this baby was 4 months old..

This was basically the only big kid scary ride I went on... oh wait I went on Space Mountain and almost threw up.. good times!

This is where we had lunch 2 days in a row, we packed our lunch every day and this was a perfect place to eat, it is in CA Adventures!

Huntington Beach!!!!

For our week in CA we did 4 days of Disneyland, and 2 days at the beach! We tried out Newport beach, but We loved Huntington beach more.. so for 2 days we laid out, read, got in the water... well kind of haha :) looked at amazing sunsets, picked up a ton of sea shells, and basically had the best time!!! I for sure can say Disneyland is great, but my favorite is the Beach!

Disneyland!!!! Day 1 and 2

Alright... Prepare yourself for picture overload!!!! After almost 4 years of marriage Jarom and finally went on a vacation that didn't consist of camping... Don't get me wrong camping is great!!! But this trip was a little farther than 3 hours! :) Jarom loves loves loves Disneyland!! We wanted to take a trip last year for his 30th birthday but it didn't work out.. so we decided to save up and head to California for a week.. The biggest reason was because my amazing husband received his Associates Degree!!! He had a month off before he started into the Bachelors program! I truly can't even tell you how proud I am of Jarom. He made the brave decision to go back to school and now he is succeeding in school and doing so well and getting amazing grades.. He is an example to me in so many ways! Love you babe!!!

California Adventures!!!

In Disneyland Tomorrow's Land they have a building full of all sorts of cool things.. and one floor was dedicated to having a smart home.. and it was all done by Control 4 where Jarom works!!! Pretty Cool!

Bella's Baptism

Jarom's younger brother Phill's daughter got baptized a couple of Saturdays ago!!! We are so proud of her for making the decision to be baptized!

Camping!

Every year since Jarom and I got married we have gone camping!!!! This year we went in the middle of September.. as amazing as it was to be with Jarom it was super cold this camping trip.. we were suppose to go for 2 nights... ya I only made it one night.. haha poor Jarom. But it was still so much fun to be with him for the weekend!

As you can see we were busy chopping wood for the next years camping season.. okay Jarom was busy chopping wood.. haha I helped a little!

Grandpa Taylor

Jarom's Grandpa passed away at the beginning of September :( I didn't know him super well, but I do know that all of his grand kids loved him very much, especially his grandsons!!! He was the one to teach them to love the outdoors, and to work very hard! I appreciate all the things he taught Jarom.. Jarom's grandpa was the one to originally buy the property that is in the Taylor family, he loved it so much that Jarom and his cousin went up there on the way to the funeral and picked wild flowers, and branches off of a pine tree, they looked beautiful on his casket! Thanks Grandpa Taylor for being an amazing Grandpa! :)
